Puddle World

I was just recovering from my Saturday morning jog near Tung Tau Tsuen (東頭村) when I came upon some pretty big trees surrounded by a small patch of green near a public housing estate. The tranquillity of the environment captivated me. So I stopped to “smell the flowers” even though there were really no flowers around.

But one of the trees has a small puddle set in its trunk quite near the ground. I looked closer and was fascinated by a small part of the world reflected through the puddle.

Somehow it brightened my day, and I walked away feeling quite a bit lighter.

Hope you like it as well.
