7.1 Marchers

Based on what we could see around us during the march, as well as the photos that I have taken, there were a lot of young people among the marchers.   Based on what I overheard, quite a few of them seemed to be university students.  Many seemed well-educated.  

There were some angry words against some of the government officials and pro-establishment functional constituency legislators.  But everyone was saying we should stay calm, be peaceful, do not resort to violence, and be aware of provocateurs.  

This has to be one of the most reasonable, disciplined, peaceful group of marchers, particularly considering how angry and frustrated many of the people are.  I do not think anyone can say, with a clear conscience, that we are not ready for our own free, open elections.
